Symptom: No banner and no dialog appear in the storefront.
Check: Is the module activated and "Activate Cookie Consent" switched on? Does your theme use the template extension? Does the page source contain window.klaroConfig?
Fix: Turn on the module and the setting, clear the cache (vendor/bin/oe-console oe:cache:clear). If window.klaroConfig is missing although the module is active, your theme does not use the bundled extension. It applies to the Apex theme, see Storefront.
Symptom: The dialog appears, but a service is missing from it.
Check: Is the service active? Does it belong to the current shop? With several shops, services are separate per shop, and the default service is created only in the shop where you activate the module.
Fix: Activate the service or create it in the right shop.
Symptom: A service shows its technical name instead of a title.
Check: Was a title saved for the language?
Fix: Maintain title and description per language, see Configuration. Without a title the module uses the German title, then the technical name.
Symptom: A new service is not saved.
Check: Is the Technical Name filled in? Is there already a service with the same name in the same shop?
Fix: Enter a unique name. The name is unique per shop. An empty name is discarded without a message.
Symptom: A service loads although the visitor declined.
Check: Is the script or embed marked with type="text/plain", data-type and data-name, and does data-name match the service's technical name exactly?
Fix: The module blocks nothing by itself. Mark every script as described under Blocking scripts. Scripts that your theme or another module output directly have to be changed there.
Symptom: Cookies remain after withdrawal.
Check: Do name, path and domain of the deletion rule match the cookie? Is there a wildcard such as _ga_* in pattern?
Fix: Wildcards have no effect. Enter the exact name or a regular expression starting with ^, for example ^_ga_.*$. Your shop cannot delete cookies of a foreign domain in the browser.
Symptom: The footer link "Cookie Settings" is missing.
Check: Did you include the widget in a template?
Fix: The link does not appear on its own. Include @mmd_klaroconsent/widget/klaro_settings_link.html.twig, see Storefront.
Symptom: The button colors do not change.
Check: The three color settings have no effect in the storefront.
Fix: Adjust the look with the color theme and your own CSS. You can ignore the color fields.
Symptom: Google keeps reporting missing consent signals.
Check: The consent mode sets only the default values "denied".
Fix: Trigger updating the values after consent yourself, see Storefront.
Symptom: The service session is missing after activation.
Check: Errors while creating the default service are swallowed.
Fix: Create the service manually: Technical Name session, Purpose Functional, Required on, Cookies sid, sid_key, oxidLanguage.
