This page describes what customers see in the shop when they redeem a voucher with extended rules.
The module distinguishes two outcomes:

A reserved voucher is applied automatically as soon as the condition is met, for example when the customer selects the matching payment method, changes the delivery method or adds more items to the basket. The check runs on every basket recalculation. A reserved voucher that has become permanently invalid is removed from the reservation.
When the order is completed, all reservations and hints as well as the payment and delivery method remembered in the session are reset so that the next order starts clean. With an empty basket, only the reservations and hints are deleted; the remembered payment and delivery method are kept.
For every reserved voucher the shop shows a box with "Voucher reserved: CODE", the matching hints and a cross to remove it ("Remove reservation"). The box appears on all checkout pages below the grand total in the summary. It is blue while the shop is only waiting for a selection and yellow when the selected payment or delivery method does not match.
The hint box is only shipped by the module for the Apex theme (template extension of the checkout summary and the stylesheet
voucherrules.css). Other themes show no box, and a reserved voucher is not applied there without any visible hint. For other themes the checkout summary template must be extended accordingly, see Technical.
The texts come from the module's language files and can be adjusted there. In the hint box the minimum order value is additionally shown with amount and currency.
