Live Demo: Try this and other plugins live — no installation, no risk: demo.markus-michalski.net
| Requirement | Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Shopware | ~6.7.0 | Composer package mmd/sw67-product-snippets. Shopware 6.5 and 6.6 have their own plugin line, see below. |
| PHP | >=8.2 | |
| License | valid | Commercial license |
1. Add the private repository
{"repositories": [{"type": "composer","url": "https://packeton.markus-michalski.net"}]}
Repository credentials are provided after the license purchase.
2. Install the plugin
composer require mmd/sw67-product-snippets
3. Activate the plugin
bin/console plugin:refresh
bin/console plugin:install --activate MmdProductSnippets
bin/console cache:clear
During installation the plugin's migration creates the tables mmd_product_snippet and mmd_product_snippet_translation. You then find the management screen under Content > Product Snippets, see Configuration.
For a Composer installation:
composer update mmd/sw67-product-snippets
bin/console plugin:update MmdProductSnippets
bin/console cache:clear
For an installation via Store or ZIP, install the new version under Extensions > My Extensions.
Uninstalling drops the tables mmd_product_snippet_translation and mmd_product_snippet, and with them all snippets, unless you choose to keep the user data while uninstalling.
Placeholders such as
{{snippet:warranty-info}}in product descriptions stay in the text after the uninstall and then appear in the shop as plain text.
Older Shopware versions are served by a separate package with the same plugin name, the same feature set and essentially the same source code. There are individual differences, including one in the language fallback when the content is read, see Technical Details.

Both packages use the same plugin name and the same tables, so you can run only one of them per installation. The activation command (plugin:install --activate MmdProductSnippets) is the same in both lines; only the package name in composer require and composer update changes.
