1. Add the private repository
Add the private Composer repository to your shop's composer.json:

You receive the repository credentials after purchasing the license.
2. Install the package
composer require mmd/sw6-variant-price-surcharge
3. Install and activate the plugin
bin/console plugin:refresh
bin/console plugin:install --activate MmdVariantPriceSurcharge
bin/console cache:clear
The migration creates a custom field set with the technical name mmd_variant_price_surcharge and the label "Variant Price Surcharge". It is assigned to products and contains the three fields mmd_surcharge_enabled, mmd_surcharge_percentage and mmd_surcharge_fixed. See Configuration for details.
The plugin creates no database tables of its own and ships no admin module, role permissions or storefront templates.

For an installation through the Store, update the extension under Extensions > My Extensions.
The migration checks whether the custom field set already exists and does not create it twice.
When uninstalling in the admin you decide whether user data is kept.

Values you saved in these fields on individual products stay in the product record even without the plugin. They no longer have any effect.
