Symptom: The widget does not appear on any page.
Check: Does the channel have an enabled row in the admin? Is at least the skip link or one tool switched on?
Solution: Create/enable the row under MMKreativ Plugins → Accessibility widget. If all five tools are off, no floating button appears by design - only the skip link, if it is on.
Symptom: The "Accessibility widget" admin page shows a server error.
Check: Has bin/console mmd:accessibility:setup (or doctrine:migrations:migrate) already been run?
Solution: Run the setup command. Nothing breaks on the storefront in the meantime: the settings are read there with try/catch, an error is only logged, and the widget stays invisible.
Symptom: The widget disappeared after a theme change, although the channel is enabled.
Check: Does the new theme still render the hook slots sylius_shop.base#javascripts, #stylesheets, .header and .offcanvas?
Solution: A theme that replaces those slots has to call the plugin's templates itself (see Storefront Integration).
Symptom: A colour filter shifts a sticky header or a banner.
Check: Did your own CSS accidentally apply a filter to a wrapper element instead of <html>?
Solution: The plugin's filters deliberately sit on <html>; a filter of your own on a wrapper creates a new containing block for position: fixed.
<style>, because url('#id') from an external stylesheet cannot reach the SVG filters; a strict CSP needs a nonce or hash for that.tests/Browser/widget.mjs script checks the JavaScript behaviour in real browsers, but runs manually, not automated.General
Does the widget set cookies? No, every setting lives in the browser's localStorage.
Does the plugin make the shop BFSG compliant on its own? No. It covers individual criteria (skip link, contrast, font size, reduced motion) but does not replace a full audit.
Configuration
Can I show the widget on only one of several channels? Yes, the setting is per channel; a channel without a row shows nothing.
What happens to a visitor's stored choice if I later disable a tool? It is ignored, not deleted - if the tool comes back, the old choice applies again.
Compatibility
Does the widget work with every theme? Only if the theme still renders the four Twig hook slots from Storefront Integration.
Does the widget work headless? Yes, through the Shop API; the headless storefront has to do the rendering itself.
