- Check: Is Small business regulation active set to "On"? After installation it is "Off". Is a separate value set for the affected sales channel?
- Solution: Switch the setting on, check per sales channel if needed, clear the cache. If your theme has overridden the blocks of the page, see Storefront.
- Check: The plugin changes no calculation, only displays. Are the products still on the old tax rate?
- Solution: Run the product migration and verify with a test order. If taxes are calculated from other sources, such as the configuration of a shipping method, that is outside the plugin.
- Check: The tax rate Kleinunternehmer §19 UStG (0%) is missing because it was never created or was deleted.
- Solution: Deactivate and reactivate the plugin. Activation creates the tax rate again. Afterwards check which default tax rate is set in the shop.
- Check: The user needs at least the permission
product:read. If the card shows "Error loading migration status.", the Admin API does not respond as expected.
- Solution: Check the role's permissions, clear the cache and rebuild the administration, as with any plugin with an admin extension.
- Check: With large catalogs (the card warns above 1,500 products) the request can hit server time limits.
- Solution: Use the CLI command, see Product migration. The command continues with the products that are not yet on the 0% tax rate.
¶ The CLI command reports "Tax rate 19% not found in the system."
- Check: There is no tax rate with exactly the percentage given in
--tax-rate. The command lists the existing tax rates.
- Solution: Pass an existing rate or create the tax rate in the shop.
¶ The command mmd:kleinunternehmer:migrate or the options --from-small-business, --tax-id, --list-taxes are unknown
- Check: These names do not exist. The command is called
mmd:kleinunternehmer:migrate-products.
- Solution: Use
--to-small-business or --restore --tax-rate=<rate>, see Product migration.
- Check: Is the regulation active for the sales channel of the order? Was the document generated before activation? Is it a document type other than invoice, cancellation or credit note? Does a theme or plugin replace the document template?
- Solution: Check the setting, regenerate the document, check the template chain. The plugin does not change documents that were already generated.
- Check: The plugin does not change email templates.
- Solution: Add the text yourself in the template, see Documents and emails.
Yes, the setting can be overridden per sales channel. Product tax rates and the default tax rate are global, though, see Configuration.
The plugin changes no orders. Documents generated after activation for an older order use the current templates and carry the notice.
The display works without a migration, but the tax rates and prices of the products stay unchanged then. For 0% prices, run the product migration.
No. The plugin checks neither revenue nor prerequisites. Whether the regulation applies to you is something to clarify with your tax advisor.
Yes, all texts are snippets, see Configuration.
The plugin overrides blocks of the storefront templates. Themes based on the default theme that do not change these blocks themselves pick up the changes. If a theme has overridden the same blocks, the inheritance order decides.
